Sleek i Divine Palette : Original

Posted on Thursday, January 31, 2013

Heyhoo!

Been addicted to makeup palettes lately. Well, I've been a makeup tutorial junkie since I don't know when but these last three months, I just started collecting things and feeling my candy jar with pweety sweets like crazy. I don't do haul, I only buy things one at a time and it's never an impulsive buying (yet). I always aaalways do my research before I decide to buy new makeup. And this sweetypie knocked my door few weeks ago

Sleek i Divine Palette : Orginal

The packaging is very compact and sleek, and it comes with a sponge tip which everyone always despise but it turns out pretty good for me. The eyeshadows, as you can see, have waffer pattern on it.

Sleek Cosmetics (as you already might have known), is an UK based makeup brand. One of it's most famous collection is the i Divine Palettes. This is my first sleek palette and I chose this one because it has a wider range of colors while being versatile and also wearable.

I took a picture of the swatches but because the lighting didn't do any justice to the color, I took a picture from A Vain Woman because I think this swatch really show the true colors of the eyeshadows.

It has 12 shades and they're all shimmery! UBER SHIMMERY!

<3 Texture : Soft
<3 Pretty Colors
<3 Price : IDR 150.000,- from Make Up Tools Shop

Hates :

It was love and hate at the first sight but after spending some times playing with this palette and found the best way to apply it (for me personally), I'm starting to lololove this Original palette.

Best way to apply :
- After a primer
- Wet a with the sponge tip. It's a mineral based eyeshadow, so you can use it dry or wet.
- Tab before apply
- Use it as an eyeliner with a wet eyeliner brush. Fun!

Overall, it is a quite nice palette and turns out very fun after you get used to the texture. Try it! :)
